Silver Star Mountain Hike
Sat, June 11, 2016 @ 7:45 am - 5:00 pm
Important Details
Silver Star is one of the most prominent peeks on the northeastern horizon looking from Vancouver and is a popular destination due to the amazing summer wildflower meadows on its slopes, as well as the fantastic 360 degree panoramic viewpoint from the top. On a clear day you can see five Cascade volcanoes: Rainier, St Helens, Adams, Hood and Jefferson. Get ready for a tough workout as the trails are very steep and will require some fitness and perseverance.
We plan to meet at New Heights Main and carpool to the trailhead. Please bring adequate food (including lunch), water and clothing for the conditions.
