Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Community Group?Amy Ruth2025-12-18T10:11:23-08:00• Apply the Bible to life
All of our Community Groups exist to:
• Apply the Bible to life
• Build authentic relationships
• Care for one another
We do this by meeting weekly to discuss the weekend message and pray for one another.
Group sizes range from 10-16 people. Trained leaders help facilitate each group. A typical gathering lasts an hour and a half.
We form groups by life stage (young adults, parents of kids, parents of students, empty-nesters, senior adults) so you’ll be with others walking a similar season of life.

What will we study?Nick Canazzi2025-12-18T09:16:42-08:00
Together we’ll dig into the weekend message and talk about what it means for our lives today. Community Group is a place to wrestle with questions, share insights, and encourage one another as we learn to follow Jesus more closely.
What about kids?Nick Canazzi2025-12-18T09:17:31-08:00Each group works together to come up with a plan based on their unique situation.
We know solving child care isn’t always easy! However, with the structure of Community Groups being limited to an hour and a half, the goal is to facilitate times of discussion and prayer connection for adults.
Each group works together to come up with a plan based on their unique situation.
Here are some of the most common plans:
Each family handles their own child care.
Families with kids collectively pay a babysitter to be with all the kids, either onsite in another room or offsite at another house.
Co-op child care amongst the group. Rotating through the group, two people pair up to be with the kids, either onsite in another room or offsite at another house.
If only a handful of people have kids, the group may choose to pool funds to help cover the cost of child care.
If you have older kids, we’d love for them to have a similar group experience with their peers. Check out the small group programs available for MSM (middle school ministry) and HSM (high school ministry).
What about Young Adults?Nick Canazzi2025-12-18T09:20:15-08:00
