New Heights Counseling serves individuals, couples, and families that attend New Heights Church and the greater Clark County community.

We see people for:

Fear and anxiety
Marriage and family issues
Relational conflict
Guilt and shame
Grief and loss

Eating disorders/body image
Obsessive and compulsive behaviors

New Heights Counseling offers Level 1 and Level 2 counseling services.

Our Level 1 counselors have a certification in biblical counseling with the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC). Our Level 2 counselors have professional training in counseling in addition to their biblical counseling certification with ABC. During the intake process, we make a counselor recommendation to fit your specific needs.

Our Level 1 counselors have a one-time suggested donation of $50, and our Level 2 counselors have a suggested donation of $75/per meeting for individual counseling and $95/per meeting for marriage/family counseling. We offer a scholarship for those experiencing financial hardship. To apply for the scholarship, first submit all forms, then email Counseling@nullNewHeights.org to request the scholarship application.

We will only be utilizing Christ-centered, biblically based counseling. Though some of our Level 2 counselors may be licensed, our counselors will not be operating under professional licenses or providing clinical therapy.

We are located in Vancouver, WA inside the New Heights Church Central Vancouver Campus

New Heights Counseling does not use licensed professional counselors. Our counseling is rooted in scripture and our methods are interwoven with the Christian faith. While some of our counselors may hold professional licenses, they are not utilizing those licenses in this role as a biblical counselor. We do not provide clinical diagnosis and therapy at New Heights Counseling.

Do you take insurance?2023-08-03T15:51:17-07:00

As a biblical counseling organization, we do not take health insurance. We have suggested donations for our services. If finances are a barrier for you, we have a sliding scale and reduced suggested donations.

What forms of payment do you take?2023-08-03T15:51:12-07:00

Following your session, you will receive an email with a way to make the suggested donation from a system called Square. This is a secure system that allows you to make a donation using a debit or credit card. The email address that you provide us during intake, is the one that we will use to send these emails out.

Can I see someone immediately?2023-08-03T15:51:08-07:00

The first step at New Heights Counseling is to create an account and complete our intake paperwork forms. Once that is completed, we will place you with the next available counselor that is a good fit for your needs. Our waitlist can run 8-12 weeks. If your wait time is likely to be longer than 12 weeks, we will let you know as soon as possible.

We are not an emergency or crisis care facility. If you are experiencing an emergency, call your physician, the police department, or 911.
