Does New Heights use licensed professionals?2023-08-03T15:51:26-07:00

New Heights Counseling does not use licensed professional counselors. Our counseling is rooted in scripture and our methods are interwoven with the Christian faith. While some of our counselors may hold professional licenses, they are not utilizing those licenses in this role as a biblical counselor. We do not provide clinical diagnosis and therapy at New Heights Counseling.

Where are you located?2023-08-03T15:51:22-07:00

Do you take insurance?2023-08-03T15:51:17-07:00

As a biblical counseling organization, we do not take health insurance. We have suggested donations for our services. If finances are a barrier for you, we have a sliding scale and reduced suggested donations.

What forms of payment do you take?2023-08-03T15:51:12-07:00

Following your session, you will receive an email with a way to make the suggested donation from a system called Square. This is a secure system that allows you to make a donation using a debit or credit card. The email address that you provide us during intake, is the one that we will use to send these emails out.

Can I see someone immediately?2023-08-03T15:51:08-07:00

The first step at New Heights Counseling is to create an account and complete our intake paperwork forms. Once that is completed, we will place you with the next available counselor that is a good fit for your needs. Our waitlist can run 8-12 weeks. If your wait time is likely to be longer than 12 weeks, we will let you know as soon as possible.

We are not an emergency or crisis care facility. If you are experiencing an emergency, call your physician, the police department, or 911.
