Our response to COVID-19
While our weekend services are on pause, we’re taking all the fun of Kidzone online! New episodes are released at 4pm on Saturday.
Kidzone is the place for kids at New Heights!
It’s our desire to share the love of Jesus with the kids we serve. We team with parents to help kids develop a personal relationship with Jesus, discover the truth of God’s word, and what it means to them.
Kidzone Check-In Process
Please check-in at the central check-in area where a leader will help you. Note any information that will help in caring for your child such as feeding times, allergies, and special needs. When you come to pick up your child at their room, hand your number card to a volunteer and they will get your child for you. (We do not release a child without the security card.)
A safe, secure, and loving environment for infants and toddlers.
What To Bring
- Two or three disposable diapers.
- Pacifier or other items should your child need it for security.
- A complete change of clothes in case your child would require that.
- A bottle of milk, formula, juice or water.
Please label all personal items with your child’s first and last name before arriving at your child’s room. This helps us keep track of your child’s items.
Your Child’s Health
We operate a well-baby program. For the protection of all the children in our ministry we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or fewer) fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. We request that you not place your child in the program while they are at risk of exposing other children. Thank you in advance for helping us keep our Kidzone program a healthy place for all.
Snacks
Snacks are provided for the children who are in the Walker room. The food items consist of Cheerios, Ritz crackers, graham crackers, pretzels, and water. If your child has an allergy, please inform the leader when you check in your child so that information will be on their name tag.
Kids will discover the God who created their world through Bible stories, crafts, creative play, and activities.
Upon entering the class your child is invited to participate in a variety of engaging activities. The activities are designed for the leaders to interact with the children while creating an enjoyable learning environment and easing any separation anxieties that they may experience.
Story Time
The children will learn a Bible story and a memory verse that emphasizes the theme and focus of the lesson. They will be encouraged to participate in a group discussion that will help them learn how to apply Biblical truths to their lives. The lesson finishes with an activity that reinforces what they have learned!
Snack & Activity Time
The two year olds through Kindergarten classes have a light, peanut-free snack together. The classes may visit the playground, weather permitting. Please send a jacket or sweater with your child during cooler weather.
A fun and safe place for your 1st-5th grader to learn and grow in their relationship with God.
1st-2nd
In Kidzone we want to make a fun and engaging place for every 1st and 2nd grader! Your child will be welcomed by loving and caring leaders, hear God’s word in a relevant way, create hands-on crafts, and participate in activities to help them learn in a variety of ways. We have several events throughout the year for kids to connect with others and invite their friends!
3rd-5th
Students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade will enter the room full of fun activities and great leaders who are there to welcome and connect with them. Our lesson every week will be directly from the Bible and will be presented in an interactive, creative way that will challenge kids to apply biblical truths to their real life. In addition to weekend services, children in grade 3-5 will have special events throughout the year to connect with leaders, each other, and new friends!

Special Adventures for Special Needs
Let us care for your special needs child while you attend a worship service. Special Adventures is offered at New Heights Main on Saturday at 4pm and Sunday at 9:45am.
Kids Baptism
Throughout the year we witness and celebrate with those who are getting baptized. In preparation, we want to help elementary students who are interested in getting baptized understand what it’s all about!
