New Roots: Silver Star Hike
Sat, July 22, 2017 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
Silver Star trail is a can’t miss hike. The trail itself follows an abandoned look out access road but offers beautiful mountain views of peeks like Hood, Rainer and St. Helens. The entire trip is 5 and a half miles to the summit and back.
You should expect plenty of sunshine on this hike. So don’t forget to throw some sunscreen, a water bottle and some kind of snack in your backpack. The hike does have a mild elevation gain but it is only moderate in difficulty. Solid tennis shoes are highly recommended as certain parts can be rocky.
Meet us at New Heights Main and we’ll carpool to the trailhead.
About New Roots
New Roots is small group ministry for young married couples who don’t have kids. It’s a great way to find lasting friendships with other couples while learning what it looks like to build your marriage according to God’s wisdom. Some small groups meet in homes, others meet at our New Heights locations. We also get together as a larger group throughout the year for marriage workshops, fun outings and overnight trips. Interested in joining a small group? Send Josh an email.
