Camp Getaway takes us away for 5 whole days. During that time you’ll be in a cabin of 8-10 other Middle School students and 1 or 2 of our trained leaders. Everything that happens that week will take place on camp property. Sleeping, eating, playing, learning – Lake Retreat Bible Camp has space for it all. 

Sleeping: Lake Retreat has wonderful cabins with bunk beds, mattresses and even possibly a lake view! As always, guys will be separated from girls and no one is allowed into the other’s space.

Eating: The dining hall offers wonderful meals served buffet style at the heart of camp. If the weather is nice, students are free to eat outside. During free time, students will be allowed to purchase snacks and drinks from the snack shack. 

Playing: The lake alone provides multiple opportunities. Swimming, diving boards, the blob, the floating island, kayaks, paddle boats and more. Trained life guards are on duty whenever the lake is open. In addition to the lake, the zip line and paintball course will be staffed for a window of time each afternoon. A covered gym, open field space, mini golf, a huge tire swing, places to sit and talk and much more make for a great afternoon. 

Learning: The chapel is where we’ll have each of our morning and evening meetings. Worship, games and talks will keep you on the edge of your seat. Smaller discussions called Cabin Time will be in the evening in your cabins.
